University of Michigan Shear Cell Rheometer Instrument

KineOptics designed and fabricated this Cylindrical Shear Cell Rheometer Instrument for the University of Michigan's Department of Chemical Engineering. It consist of a rotating cylinder and stationary piston for fluid testing. The BK7 glass plates allow examination through the shear slot with a laser. A kinematic mounting provides exact alignment and replacement of the upper stage which is also adjustable in all directions and rotations.
