These subminiature load cells are from a previous project by KineOptics and we are selling them at a very reasonable cost. They are still sealed in the original packing from Sensotec.

These Sensotec model 11 load cells can be used in tension and compression and capable of accurate measurement of very small forces.

Contact KineOptics for further information regarding these subminiature load cells.

Subminiature load cells of this range are useful in many small force measurements. General instrumentation, micro scales, adhesive testing instruments, testing pressure sensitive adhesives, unmanned aerial vehicle measurements, SUAV testing, model aircraft aerodynamic testing, micro radio control aircraft testing, and small wind tunnel balances, are some of the uses of subminiature load cells.

We can also assist in designing your system around these load cells.

Please note that these load cells were a special model 11 and have a different configuration than the standard Sensotec model 11. The standard model 11 had a thread on each end but these special load cells we have for sale have only one end that is threaded and a body. This allows the body and associated wiring to be easily isolated. The threaded end is now free to measure accurately. This is a very good way to make a very small force load cell. The threaded end is a 4-40 UNC and extreme care must be used when attaching to it.

These load cells are for measuring very small forces, subsequently, they can be easily damaged from overload. Extreme care should be used in handling, mounting, and operation. These special load cells were manufactured without a zero balance circuit board in the associated wiring, thus, they will exhibit a small signal with no load. This out of zero balance condition can be recorded as the no load signal or a trim circuit can be incorporated in the associated electronics. Most load cell instruments can zero out a small amount of out of balance of the bridge.
